this one goes out to you dedication to the youth
Miss Kent was running late. This she knew. It wasn’t as though she had intended to be late- but then, who intends to be late? It had just been one of those days that didn’t seem to want to give the blonde a break. First, it had been the shower. Someone in her family had decided to set the dish-washer off after about five minutes of Alyson being in the shower. That meant she had to spend extra time, fiddling with the taps while swearing under her breath. Then she couldn’t decide what she wanted for breakfast, because they were out of pop tarts. She really had had her heart set on a pop tart.
So, her morning had not been pleasant. In a foul mood Alyson had shoved her unwashed (because who wanted to wash their hair in cold water?) hair up into a ponytail and threw on the only clean thing on her floor. A white and blue strapless ‘baby doll’ dress. Though it wasn’t raining, she still guessed it would be somewhat cool so she grabbed a denim jacket before leaving the house. She was going to walk, but since she was already late she decided her car would be best. She probably would have made it on time too if she hadn’t have stopped for a latte and a muffin.
Once parked in The school’s car-park, Alyson took a moment to drain the rest of her take-away coffee cup. Before she tossed it into the back seat. She actually didn’t want to know what was in the back seat. Possibly clothes she had been missing for a while. Many empty coffee cups and take-away bags. Perhaps even a dead body. She wouldn’t know. It had been a rather long time since she had forced herself to clean out her car. She really felt sorry for any back-seat passages But then, most of the people that got into her blue jeep were friends, and they already knew what a slob she could be.
Undoing her seat belt, Alyson slipped on the jacket before she let herself out of the car. A few minutes later, her car was safely locked, and Alyson had her school bag out, fumbling around for her phone to check the time. Fudge pop. She was already twenty minutes late, and with all the dawdling by her locker she intended to do, she wouldn’t even get to class for another ten. After that, really what was the point? None. There was really nothing left to do, except to spend the remainder of her double Chemistry class in the library with all the other bludgers. Pretending she had a spare.
Putting her large hand-bag that doubled as a school bag over her shoulder, Alyson traipsed across the school grounds towards the library. It was the perfect place really. Anyone that might be looking for her to get her into trouble wouldn’t dream of looking for Alyson in the library. Those, however, that new Alyson a shade better would know exactly where she was hiding out. Once inside the library, the youth found herself a quiet bean-bag in the corner. Sinking down into it before taking her sketch bad from her bag. Finishing that Alice in Wonderland drawing she had started for Kennedy was far better use of her time then mixing chemicals together anyway.

i'm in the business of misery lets take it from the top
A free period right away in the morning was a good thing for Katrina Madden. She could go over her plans for the day and make sure she had time to accomplish all of it. Today, she planned to find Finn Heaton and establish plans with him. Yes, he was dating Alyson Kent, yes he was virtually untouchable. However, for Katrina, that wasn't enough to hinder her advances. Of course, Finn only saw as a friendship now that she stopped overtly advancing on him. It was a friendship that was still forming, but there was a deeper, ulterior motive there. A motive that she was certain Alyson Kent could see. Any woman could see. It wasn't above their radars. But it was for the males around here. That didn't matter to her, just as long as Finn remained clueless for the time being.
The curvy brunette carried herself along the campus pathway, heading toward the library to get in a little studying before her hazel eyes fell on the tall frame of a very tardy Alyson Kent. She watched with intrigue as the girl slipped into the library and she wondered for a moment. Did she have a chemistry class right about now? One eyebrow raised as she followed into the building after the blonde, walking away from her as to not be noticed by her. She understood that stalking was a bit unsettling, but she was curious as to why she wasn't heading to class. Alyson Kent skipping class? Was that even possible?
She grabbed a book off the shelf and followed after her before she sat herself in a corner, alone, with a sketch pad. Ah yes, the artistic, I have layers side of her. It annoyed Katrina to no end. Sure, the blonde may have such layers and very well could be a decent, honest person. But she refused to believe that. It made her games harder that way. She made her way toward Alyson's corner before she closed the book slowly and paused in front of her.
"Well, well, well, aren't we just a rebel today."
Katrina said with a hint of malicious intent. Alyson wasn't her best friend, not in the least. However, she still put on a fake smile, a fake facade, even though she knew Alyson saw right through it every single time. She slipped the book away from her onto a nearby shelf and placed her hands together. She sauntered closer to Alyson and propped herself onto a table nearest her. She looked down at the blonde with a smirk on her beautiful face. That beauty was deceiving, in all honesty.
